What is the Ferrite core?
The anti-interference magnetic ring, also known as a ferrite bead or ferrite core, is a common electronic component made of ferrite material with high magnetic permeability.
It is mainly used in electronic circuits and cable connections to suppress electromagnetic interference (EMI) and radio frequency interference (RFI). When a cable or wire passes through the magnetic ring, the ring creates a high impedance to high-frequency interference signals, converting the interference energy into heat and dissipating it, thus reducing the impact of interference on electronic equipment.
Anti-interference magnetic rings are lightweight, easy to install (they can be clamped on cables directly or the cable can be wound around them for better effect), and cost-effective. They are widely applied in computers, televisions, communication devices, power supplies and other electronic products to improve the electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) of the equipment.
